The Equality Illinois 2014 Gala Saturday night was the biggest and most successful ever, thanks to the record crowd of 1,400 celebrants, our dedicated volunteers, all the companies and individuals who were sponsors and donated items for the Silent Auction and bought pages in the program book, and the special guests, including Gov. Pat Quinn, Sen. Mark Kirk, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, filmmaker Lana Wachowski, representatives from the Chicago Urban League and State Farm, and many, many more.
Their participation combined with your contributions all year long will fund the programs and advocacy of Equality Illinois for the coming year as we continue the fight together to bring full equality to LGBT Illinoisans.
