As we await the election results, a big THANK YOU to everyone who voted and most especially to everyone who gave their time, money and energy in this election to fight to ensure that the voices of LGBT Illinoisans were heard.
You’ve knocked on countless doors and phoned tens of thousands of voters; you marched and rallied and talked to friends and family.
And, we were heard. You made sure that even opponents of marriage equality accept that it is now the unchangeable law in Illinois.
