EARLY VOTING IN THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL AND STATE ELECTIONS IS NOW OPEN

are now available for the Nov. 8, 2016 election!

VOTE EARLY TODAY!WHERE CAN I VOTE EARLY IN ILLINOIS? Anyone can vote early.  Every county and voting jurisdiction has at least one polling place open as of September 29, 2016. In a few weeks, many more early voting locations will open, including in all 50 Chicago wards and in many other government offices throughout the state.

CAN I VOTE BY MAIL? Yes, anyone can vote by mail as long as your ballot is postmarked no later than election day. Pick up or write for a ballot at your local election authority. Find the address:

CAN I STILL REGISTER TO VOTE? Yes. Click HERE for voter registration information.

WHO CAN REGISTER NOW? If you recently moved to Illinois, will be 18 by Election Day Nov. 8, 2016, changed your name or moved to a different address—you need to register or re-register to vote!

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE? To vote, you must:

• Be a United States citizen,
• Not be convicted of an offense and in jail,
• Be at least age 18 on or before the next general election,
• Not claim the right to vote anywhere else, and
• Live in your election precinct at least 30 days prior to the next election.
